Day 1
Your holiday begins as you board our Royal Class coach at your chosen pickup point. Sit back and relax as we travel south towards our destination, with a carefully planned stop along the way. On arrival at our hotel, you’ll have time to settle in before joining your fellow travellers for dinner.
DDay 2
After breakfast, we head to the beautiful city of Bath for a guided walking tour taking in its most famous sights. With our knowledgeable guide leading the way, you’ll discover the city’s Roman heritage and elegant Georgian grandeur, including highlights such as the Royal Crescent, The Circus, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey (time permitting). After the tour, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace before we return to the hotel for dinner.
B, DDay 3
Following breakfast, we travel to the magnificent National Trust property, Tyntesfield. Explore this extraordinary Victorian Gothic Revival house, with its fascinating interiors and collections, then enjoy time to wander the beautifully maintained gardens and estate at leisure. Later, we return to the hotel with time to relax ahead of dinner.
B, DDay 4
This morning, after breakfast, we visit the picture-perfect village of Lacock. Enjoy free time to stroll its historic streets, admire the charming cottages, and perhaps call in at a traditional tearoom—this timeless village is also well known as a filming location. This afternoon, we continue to the Bristol Aerospace Museum for a fascinating visit, including the Heritage Aircraft Tour, where expert commentary brings the aircraft and stories of British aviation to life. We return to the hotel for dinner.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast, we make our way to Bristol for a guided walking tour of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Take in the spectacular views across the Avon Gorge as you hear the story of Brunel’s iconic landmark, with plenty of time for photographs. We then begin our journey home, with a stop en route for a meal.
