Day 1
Your luxury holiday begins as you board our Royal Class coach at your chosen pickup point. Sit back and relax as we journey to the heart of historic York, with your luggage delivered directly to our handpicked hotel. On arrival, enjoy free time to explore York’s festive Christmas Market and atmospheric city streets, with the opportunity to savour lunch at one of the many inviting eateries.
We meet our local guide and discover York’s haunted history on a ghost tour through the city’s enchanting streets.
Later, we gather at Middletons Hotel—our boutique accommodation set within York’s ancient city walls—for a warming artisan gin tasting experience at the in-house distillery. Led by expert distillers, you’ll sample a range of exceptional gins, perfect for embracing the spirit of the season. After the tasting, check in to your elegant room before joining your fellow travellers for a delicious welcome dinner.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, we depart for the magnificent Castle Howard. Explore this grand stately home, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and enjoy the festive installations that change each season.
We begin our journey home in the afternoon, stopping en route for a satisfying meal. You’ll arrive back at your original pickup point in the early evening, filled with wonderful memories of your York Christmas experience.
