The Great Polish Map of Scotland: is a large (50 m x 40 m) three-dimensional, outdoor concrete scale model of Scotland. It is also known as the Mapa Scotland (derived from Polish mapa Szkocji) or the Barony Map. It stands in the grounds of Barony Castle and is open to visitors daily.

Day 1
Your holiday begins as you board our Royal Class coach at your chosen pickup point. Enjoy a comfort stop at Mainsgill Farm. Stop for lunch in the charming town of Gretna before visiting the fascinating Devil’s Porridge Museum, which tells the remarkable story of wartime innovation in the region. Later arrive at the Barony Castle Hotel, Peebles. Take time to view the striking National Map of Scotland in the hotel’s tranquil gardens before joining your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.
DDay 2
Following breakfast, we visit the Great Tapestry of Scotland Visitor Centre in Galashiels to marvel at Scotland’s rich history captured in over 140 intricately embroidered panels. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Abbotsford - the historic home of Sir Walter Scott—set on the banks of the River Tweed. We return to the hotel for dinner.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast, we spend a full day in Edinburgh. Begin with a panoramic city tour led by a knowledgeable local guide, followed by visits to The Georgian House and the historic Gladstone’s Land on the Royal Mile. If time permits, enjoy a stroll to the splendid St Giles’ Cathedral. We return to Peebles for dinner.
B, DDay 4
Start the day with breakfast, then discover the elegant Newhailes House and Gardens, an 18th-century treasure set amidst picturesque grounds. In the afternoon, visit the charming and historic Preston Mill, one of Scotland’s oldest functioning watermills. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 5
After breakfast, we begin our journey home, pausing to explore the impressive Belsay Hall in Northumberland—a landmark renowned for its Greek Revival architecture and Quarry gardens. Enjoy a meal on the homeward journey, arriving back at your original pickup point.
