DAY 1
Your holiday begins as you board our Royal Class coach at your chosen pickup point. Relax in comfort as we journey to historic Woodbridge, with a carefully selected stop en route. Upon arrival at our hotel, you’ll have time to settle in before joining your fellow travellers for a delicious welcome dinner.
DDAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the remarkable Ickworth House, renowned for its unique rotunda and exquisite gardens. This afternoon, we journey to Bury St Edmunds for a guided walking tour. We’ll return to the hotel for another delicious dinner.
DAY 3
Begin the day with breakfast before discovering Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury. Explore the childhood home of the famed artist. Later, we travel on to Lavenham, one of England’s best-preserved medieval villages. Admire the half-timbered houses, visit the historic Lavenham Guildhall, and enjoy free time to explore the local shops and tea rooms. Dinner awaits back at the hotel.
B, DDAY 4
After breakfast, we head to the iconic Sutton Hoo, the site of one of Britain’s most important archaeological discoveries. For lunch, enjoy free time at Snape Maltings, an award-winning arts and shopping centre set amidst peaceful reed beds. In the afternoon, relax on a scenic River Deben cruise, taking in panoramic views and abundant wildlife. Enjoy some additional free time exploring Woodbridge before our delicious hotel dinner.
DAY 5
Enjoy a final breakfast before beginning our journey homeward. This morning we pause for a visit to the grand Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge, with its beautiful gardens and impressive interiors. We will stop en route for a meal before arriving back at your original pickup point in the early evening, bringing home unforgettable memories of Suffolk in summertime
