Artisan Foodie Experience: Bowland & Bay is delighted to organise a foodie adventure with award winning food guide Katie Wilson. We will be exploring: Lancashire cheese tasting, Gin tasting on the fells, Farm made ice creams, Smokehouse shop on the bay, Craft brewery for beer tasting. Local guide Katie will tell you tales from Pendle Hill’s Quakers & Witches, to Vikings & Romans.

Day 1
Your holiday begins as you board our Royal Class coach at your chosen pickup point. Relax in comfort as we travel to Oswaldtwistle Mills, for time to browse the excellent shopping and tempting food outlets—perfect for picking up a few treats. Later, we enjoy a fascinating guided tour of Pendle Witch Country, bringing to life the stories and legends of this remarkable Lancashire landscape. We then continue to our handpicked hotel to settle in before dinner.
DDay 2
After breakfast, we head to historic Lancaster Castle for a guided tour, discovering centuries of remarkable history and intrigue within its formidable walls. This afternoon we slow the pace with a relaxing cruise on the Lancaster Canal, with a delicious cream tea served on board as you enjoy the scenery. We return to the hotel in time for dinner.
B, DDay 3
Following breakfast, enjoy a real highlight of the holiday—our full-day “Taste of Lancashire” foodie experience with Bowland & Bay. With Katie - our expert award winning host, you’ll savour a wonderful collection of regional flavours and special stops, with tastings along the way and warm Lancashire hospitality throughout. We return to the hotel this evening for dinner.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast, we check out and visit atmospheric Samlesbury Hall, where you can soak up its rich history and enjoy a memorable ghost tour. We then begin our journey home, with a meal included on the return journey—the perfect last little extra before arriving back at your original pickup point early evening.
