Day 1
Your holiday begins as you board our Royal Class coach at your chosen pickup point. Sit back and relax as we make our way south, with a delightful stop at Shugborough Estate to enjoy its beautiful grounds and riverside setting. Later, we continue to our hotel where you’ll have time to settle in before dinner.
DDay 2
After breakfast, we head out to Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park for a wonderful morning amongst friendly animals, countryside views, and a real taste of rural life. This afternoon we visit the exquisite Hidcote Manor Garden, a National Trust favourite renowned for its outdoor “rooms”, superb planting, and peaceful walks. We return to the hotel in time for dinner.
B, DDay 3
Following breakfast, we travel to Cheltenham Racecourse to enjoy a charming journey on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, travelling through glorious Cotswolds scenery to Broadway. On arrival you’ll have free time to explore this much-loved village and enjoy lunch at your leisure. This afternoon we step back in time at Chedworth Roman Villa, one of Britain’s most fascinating Roman sites, where you can discover remarkable mosaics and ancient history. We return to the hotel for dinner.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast, we visit WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre for a relaxing morning surrounded by nature, with excellent viewing points and level walking routes. Later, we continue to Newark Park, a superb National Trust estate with a fascinating house and far-reaching views across the Gloucestershire countryside. We return to the hotel for our final dinner.
B, DDay 5
Enjoy breakfast before we begin our homeward journey. We call at Baddesley Clinton, a moated manor house with captivating stories and lovely grounds — a fitting finale to our holiday. We’ll then continue north with a meal stop en route, before arriving back at your original pickup point.
