A Rare opportunity to visit Magnificent Wentworth Woodhouse
one of the largest houses in Europe and with a frontage wider than Buckingham Palace. It is two houses of totally different, architectural styles built by the First Marquess of Rockingham in 1725. The west front of the house in the baroque style and the east front in the later Palladian style. It stands in 250 acres of park and with its East Front of over 600 feet. The house was sold in 2017 for £7m following a 5 year campaign by the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust who have embarked on a major project to restore the house. www.wentworthwoodhouse.co.uk

Christmas Brass Band Concert starring Harworth Colliery Band

On Sunday afternoon Harworth Brass entertain us with their wonderful Christmas Concert, including all the favourites.

The Beautiful Ye Olde Bell Hotel, Retford
This 4 star, legendary 17th century coaching inn stands in a rural countryside. Recently restored, it retains the traditional character and sense of history, which dates back to the days of stagecoaches and highwaymen. You’ll find traditional log fires, comfy leather sofas and antiques, modern power showers and fluffy duvets. The hotel has no lift. Depart for Chatsworth, where the Christmas market will be in full swing. Take a tour of this splendid house, all dressed up for Christmas. Later, we enjoy high tea on our homeward journey
