Join on this action packed Christmas Celidh holiday for 4 days, staying at the popular Ben Nevis Hotel in Fort William
West Highland Railway Line. Considered by many to be the most scenic rail journey in the world, we travel on the West Highland Line to Mallaig over the Glenfinnan Viaduct used in the Harry Potter films for the Hogwarts Express.
From Fort William, youll trace the iconic curve of the Glenfinnan Viaduct, probably the most famous piece of rail track in the world after being used by the Harry Potter films as part of the route to Hogwarts. The route to Mallaig takes you past Lochs Eilt, Ailort and Nan Uamh all starkly beautiful before arriving at Morars sandy shores, yet another cinematic location, this time Local Hero. The final stretch into Mallaig brings glimpses of Skye, which is just a short ferry trip from the port.

In this location, at the old Drumnadrochit Hotel, Mrs Aldie MacKay reported seeing a 'whale-like fish' or 'water beast' in the waters of Loch Ness. Her sighting sparked the birth of a monster media frenzy and created a global legend.
